Figlio di un immigrato egiziano, nato e cresciuto a Roma nel quartiere di Torpignattara si avvicina alla cultura hip hop nei primi anni novanta, cosa che lo ha sicuramente salvato dalle insidie della vita in periferia e dalla brutta strada intrapresa da suo padre che finì in carcere quando lui era piccolo.
Il rap fa da colonna sonora nel suo percorso di crescita artistica, e proprio grazie a questa musica, trova un mezzo per raccontare al mondo le sue difficili esperienze.
Dopo diverse autoproduzioni nella scena underground e varie collaborazioni con i nomi più noti del panorama hip hop italiano, nel 2005 inizia a lavorare al suo primo album da solista “Uomo di Prestigio” che inizialmente doveva uscire per una piccola etichetta indipendente (Prestigio records) ma grazie al suo spessore viene notato dagli addetti ai lavori e dopo una breve trattativa viene pubblicato dalla Emi/Virgin nel Luglio del 2006.
Da qui in poi la sua carriera prende una svolta che lo porta a trasformare una semplice passione in una vera e propria professione e ad essere attualmente uno dei rapper più credibili e influenti che ci sono in Italia.
Innumerevoli sono le partecipazioni televisive e le riviste di settore e non, che gli hanno dedicato spazio al punto che sarebbe superfluo elencarle visto che basta digitare il suo nome su un qualsiasi motore di ricerca per trovarsi davanti a centinaia di informazioni che lo riguardano.
Oggi Amir è pronto per parlare al grande pubblico, per fargli conoscere la sua realtà e quella di tanti ragazzi come lui.

The son of an Egyptian immigrant, born and raised in Rome’s Torpignattara neighborhood, Amir first approaches Hip Hop culture in the early nineties.
Hip Hop protects him from the struggle of street life and shows him a different way from the missteps taken by his father, who went to jail when Amir was still a child.
Rap is the soundtrack of Amir’s growth as an artist: thanks to his music, he finds a way to tell the world about his painful experiences.
After several self-produced albums in the underground scene and various collaborations with Italy’s biggest Hip Hop artists, in 2005 he begins working on his first solo album “Uomo Di Prestigio”, initially scheduled to be realeased on a small independent label (Prestigio Records). However major labels take note of Amir’s work and, after a short negotiation, his album is picked up and published by EMI/Virgin in July 2006.
His career takes off, making it possible to turn a simple passion into his profession: Amir becomes one of the most credible and influential Italian rappers, granting him countless appearences on TV and magazines.
Amir’s maturation not only as an artist but also has an individual has made him an eloquent spokesperson of the harsh reality of the streets, capable to relate to people of all ages and social backgrounds.
